The ART DOLLS. I make these like the Robot Sculptures, as a break from painting and they too have become popular.
All faces are either needle sculpted or made from Paperclay and hand painted. The clothing is my own design from designer fabric swatch books or in the case of the 'Rabbits' are hand stitched fibers and pieces on felt. 'Accoutrements' from my extensive ephemera collection. I've made quite a few in each type displayed here but am not picturing all - there's quite a few! - these are my own favourites.
